Maldives - good all inclusive packages
We’re looking for a resort in the Maldives that has good snorkelling but also a great all inclusive package. I hate that so many of the packages require ‘premium/gold’ upgrades and also that ‘all inclusive’ in some seems to mean 1 buffet restaurant and some others that you get an ‘allowance’ for - this isn’t all inclusive! I want to be relaxed while we’re there and be able to eat and drink (cocktails) in a few different places as we please.
Does anyone have any recommendations for places like this, with a true, varied all inclusive package? The new Siyam World resort seems to fit the bill in terms of all inclusive but it hasn’t opened yet so there’s not much information about the island, snorkelling or just general reviews.

Thank you I’ll have a look at these.
I’ve also been looking at: Centara Grand Island (seems to have lots of restaurants and you get 4 excursions included on their premium AI) Heritance Aarah Adaaran Premium Water Villas Meedhupparu If anyone knows anything about those

As you’ve mentioned one with a premium AI. Kuramathi ❤️
I didn’t mention earlier because there’s different board options. But Kuramathi with All Inclusive Select is a firm fave! No knowledge of the ones you mentioned though sorry!

I've stayed at 2 of the Adaaran islands, Meedhupparu being one of them (but not in their water villas). Beautiful island, but I'm a little confused by your definition of all inclusive. Every Maldives holiday we've been on, you're allocated a restaurant & table, admittedly they get smaller and more intimate the better the accomodation, but it's still an allocated restaurant.
We stayed at the water villas at Adaaran Huduranfushi and they were amazing, whilst the island wasn't the best one I've stayed at, I wouldn't hesitate to go back. We had our butler, our allocated restaurant, table and waiter for dinner (as have with every Maldivian holiday), but breakfast (only) was served at the restaurant on the pier with the water villas. The butler would drive us over the the main part of the island in a golf buggy, which was always fun. I'd expect the Meed water villas to be similar as it's the sister island.

Yeah I remember us chatting about it
Either option would have been great Emerald looks to be a bigger newer island. Look forward to hearing about it when you get back
