I saw it yesterday but I’m not sure what my opinion is.
Some elements were brilliant, incredible, genius etc but others ‘spoiled’ the movie for me. Eg. The final action scenes went on too long. I guess they cost so much, they wanted to get their money’s worth. I think there might be a generation gap issue as well. I could follow the storyline cept for the dialogue I couldn’t hear* but my daughter followed all of the plot but couldn’t tell what Kenneth Branagh was saying at all, whereas I understood everything he said. Weird. * I do understand that Christopher Nolan likes his audience to experience Sound as though they were actually present at the scene so for example, if there was an explosion, you wouldn’t be able to hear the person stood next to you but that’s not very helpful when you’re trying to follow a convoluted plot. Hopefully, they might improve the sound mix for the dvd market? Sorry, if I’m rabbiting - trying to avoid any spoilers. |

Stupid movie !
That's my thoughts on it. Why make a movie so complicated that you have no clue what's going on. Edited at 06:47 PM. |

My partner and I understood what was going on but still didn’t think it was a good movie! I know Christopher Nolan has been trying to direct a Bond film for years but most of Tenet belonged back in the 1960s when cheesy one-liners and Russian villains were still new 😂 Can’t complain any further without veering into spoiler territory but I would not recommend it to anybody!
