Renting points newbie
Hi all need some advice I'm looking at renting some points for late October early November 2019 never done it before. I would like 4 nights at the poly studio followed by 4 at the boardwalk 1 bedroom or even 2 studios close together if poss. What would be my strategy to achieve this? Any help would be much appreciated

There are a few sites that do rentals of Points. The one that is mentioned on here a lot is Daves. He has been doing this for years and comes well recommended.

The good news is you are early. This is peak DVC time and the Boardwalk in particular is challenging. 1 beds are a lot easier to get than studios.
Simple advice, contact Davids now and get your name down as soon as he lets you. You will need to be booking before the 7 month window (as near to 11 as poss) and so you will need an owner of Poly and an owner of Boardwalk to likely secure those resorts at that time. You will also have Star Wars opening about then, so demand will be stratospheric. You need to be one of the first in David's queue when an owner offers to puts their points up to rent 11 months out. |

At least you're early. Hopefully David's will find you owners ready to book at 11 months. I was lucky, I didn't contact David's until 11 months and then it took almost 3 weeks on a waiting list for 2 Beachclub studios in December. Luckily for me they were still available.

Just booked with David's yesterday, 6 months before we go. My first and second choices were gone (BWVs and BCVs) but I'm happy with BLT lake view and got it for half the cash price .
