Does anyone know how far in advance Center Parcs allocate lodges?

Does anyone know how long before your trip Center Parcs allocate your location? I think I might have to pay and pick as about 4 of the lodges in the category we want don't have a proper patio and have no bbq stand but just wondered how early they allocate if we don't pick. Annoying as we'd be happy with any of the locations of the 2 storey 3 beds at longleat but my mum will want a bbq stand. To me this is a standard feature and we shouldn't have to pay extra to make sure we have it.

Hi, we are off to Longleat today and our 3 bed was allocated about a week after booking. I booked at the beginning of January.

I've never stayed before but have been to Aqua Sana a few times. Hoping the weather stays dry

Think it's after balance due date.

As Phoebe has said they are allocated on the balance due date or a day or so later

Thanks I had assumed I'd pay it all on booking. How far in advance of the trip is balance usually due. Would we be allocated soon if we paid it all upfront? We're looking to go 1st June.

Your balance due date would be 23rd March so the allocation will be following that date so somewhere between 23rd- 26th March. It does not take into consideration you paying the balance early.

Thanks. Do you think I could book and choose the location nearer the time if it's getting booked up? Just can't decide whether to bother or not but knowing my luck if I don't we'll be allocated one of the 4 that don't have the bbq stand. I wonder what would happen if I added the family pack of bbq's to my booking?!

You can wait and see what you have been allocated or keep checking and if it’s not ideal you can then ring up and ask to pay to select
This however depends on how many of those lodges are left. If they all sell out before 23rd they will all be allocated on or around that date

Does anyone know if I can add extras like groceries or bbq's after booking? Or if I add things then change my mind can I remove them?
