Now there are some lovely dogs. Thanks for the link.

I'm not a lover of 'handbag' dogs but if people want them hey thats fine.

I like anything from a Springer Spaniel size up. What I have always found distressing is how fads/fashions have ruined certain breeds.

I well remember when Afghans became popular in the 60's and as a consequence the breed was ruined. Alsatians bred too low on the hind legs thus causing massive issues. Bulldogs that can't breathe properly or give birth naturally. Cannot be right.

Our neighbors have a Newfoundland. He’s under a year old and already the size of a small pony, he’s really friendly though.

I absolutely love big hairy slobbery dogs - meet loads out on walks with ems.

But I have to say, I love all the little dogs too!

I guess I just love all dogs. People say staffies are... and huskies are... and jack russells are... but I have to say, with a little patience I find all dogs come over and day hello. I always judge the deed not the breed.

Biggest dog we met - height not weight was a Malamute in Bellahouston Dog Park - he was so tall and fluffy and just a pup - he and emmy rolled around for about an hour.

When we first got her we just took her to enclosed dog parks to run around until we nailed her recall, one day 2 Maltese pups walked along, walked UNDER the fence to come and say hello to our big staffie! The owners said that their wee dogs sensed no danger and just came in to say hello!

Some times we judge the outside packaging - but inside they are the same wonderful doggos!
