Electric Toothbrush recommendations
I'm looking for recommendations for electric toothbrushes.
My 3rd Philips one has just packed in. Every one I've had has stopped charging at just over 2 years old. Is this a normal life expectancy for an electric toothbrush or should I be looking at changing brands? |

My dental bill used to run into the hundreds till I got a sonicare. Since then it’s just a check up. Amazon always have them on offer. My last one lasted over 3 years. I know you only got 2 years but don’t forget you use it twice a day every day.

We’ve had a Philips Sonic care for about 4 years now. Touch wood ours and DD are still going strong but DS & DiL had to replace theirs at Christmas. Since using the Sonicare my teeth have been much better and I would happily buy another.

DS and I got oral-b 650 for £18. From debenhams, must admit I love it, can see why they are popular. In boots I saw some at £300!

It's a Sonicare Diamond Clean that's just packed in on me. I had 2 EasyCleans before that.
They have definitely made a difference as the dentist commented on the difference in tartar build up (or lack of) since changing to an electric toothbrush. I'm just loathe to fork out what equates to over £50 a year for a toothbrush (that's excluding replacement heads!). It's frustrating, as they pack in with no warning. I was still getting almost a week on a charge...and I still have 2 replacement heads I've not used |
