Question Renting points Jan/Feb

We are looking at renting points for two nights end Jan / start Feb next year. I’ve seen David’s mentioned on here and will use them. I want to apply soon as 11 months is coming up. Am I likely to get what I request at this stage? We haven’t quite decided on the resort yet ( Bay Lake / AK / WL ), but will want a studio. Any pros or cons of these resorts would be great too.
Thanks

Whilst January is not a quiet month (the marathon weekend is particularly busy) you are booking at the start of the window and I think you will get a studio without problem especially if you can be flexible on view etc.

As to location as you are staying for only two nights I would pick based on what you want to do as I don't think the small pros and cons would be relevant in so short a stay. If you are going to go to Animal Kingdom and want to eat at Saana or Boma then pick AK. Similarly if it is Magic Kingdom then Bay Lake or WL.

Thanks. I've put in a request for a Standard Studio at Bay Lake as we'll be going to MK on one of our days, we also upped it to 3 nights. From what I've read they're really popular, so fingers crossed we manage to get it.

Another quick question, if David’s don’t have the points available at 11 months, what happens next? Can I wait to see if they get the points or will I need to choose another resort?
