I have both the Upright and the handheld, I also have the Dyson Animal cylinder.
Whilst the GTech does pick up some impressive bits it is hopeless doing edges.
If I want to do a quick daily run through its great, but it definately does not pick up bits, ie cat litter pieces that they have on their paws !
My mum loves hers as she has problems with her strength, but she does'nt have any animals.
They advertise the Gtech handheld as good for the car, but I find it useless.
I personally don't think they are worth the money.

My parents have the air ram and the handheld and love them both. However they've had some problems with them not working several times and gtech has replaced them, however it has happened several times.

I generally like mine but it needs emptying ALL the time.

It begins to start not picking up when full and also the pick up is not what I call great.

No edge cleaning either- having said that I didn’t like my dyson previous to it.

Opinion is meh!😳

I have the Gtech Air Ram K9 version and I love it. It is so light and and easily manoeuvrable round corners and under cupboards. It has really strong suction, so much so I struggle to clean my mats by the door as it lifts them up and sometimes traps them in the rollers. I also like the air freshener refills which really leave the room smelling nice.
I also have the Gtech multi and that is rubbish. The only thing that is good for is cleaning the stairs, other than that it was a waste of money. I paid extra for the car cleaning kit but it seems to lose all its suction as soon as you put one of the hoses on it. I would be better sucking the muck up through a straw than using that
I would certainly recommend the Air ram but not the multi x

If you can stretch to it get the V8 rather than V6 Dyson as it's a big improvement. As I mentioned earlier, it's in offer in Costco ATM but not sure how long for

Do you have to be a member to shop at Costco?

Yes you do need membership card for online too. I think you can order without but the price increases
