Mobile Port Orleans Riverside 5 bed rooms.

Hi we are looking at staying on-site next year, there are 4 of us but the kids are older and will not share a bed, thought we would just take an air bed and they could take turns on the floor but just realised this hotel has an extra bed. It is classed as a child's bed how small is it please has anyone used this bed. My daughter will be 19 but she's very skinny and not tall so it may be a better option.

It’s suitable for a child up to about aged 10 at the most IMO. I know people have put teens in them but most would reject this as a reasonable option. It’s short and narrower than a single bed. My skinny daughter refused to go in one after age 10 anyway.

The sofa beds at the deluxe hotels (some of them) are a better size. Both mine have slept until then as older teens quite happily at the Beach Club for example.

It is 60 inches or 5 foot (160cm) by 30 inches or 2 foot 6 inches (76cm) so a narrow short single bed.

I know that other people such as Loves2Plan uses an air bed as they have a son and a daughter who I think are older teens so they won't share a bed.

I have 2 sons and I love POR because I (the Mum) can get changed behind the curtain whilst my husband and my sons get changed in the bedroom. It gives privacy without being in a bathroom.

Thankyou it's good to know about the small changing area with curtain, think I may stick with this option but take an airbed also just in case it's not suitable. Tbh I can't really justify the deluxe hotels price. Shame they don't have the option to split one of the double beds like they do in alot of hotels here. My daughter isn't even sure she will grace us with her presence yet!😱

You could also consider connecting rooms at a value resort, it will be slightly more expensive but this way they both get proper beds and have a separate bathroom so quicker to get ready in the morning.
