These were for wedding favours

That’s me also. Mince and tatties and also stew. I am also good at soup like potato soup. My husband does most of the cooking though!

A pain to make, but delicious to eat, generally with thin(ish) sliced potatoes , roasted in Olive Oil. A really good, dinner party special if you have a simple, preprepared starter and dessert on either side.

There is a good BBC recipe for this, although I add mushrooms to the Madeira Sauce..
Where do you find your foie gras?

What are you roasting in the oven?

Meringues are mine. I have to make at least 4 large Pavlova for friends at Christmas plus my own.
When my Disney friends come over for games night, I shape it like Mickey Mouse's head 😁

Sticky toffee pudding - I use a John Whaite recipe using Lady Grey Tea and figs which makes it a bit different.
Here’s a photo from one I made at Christmas...

Meringues are one thing I can never make, I follow the recipe to the letter but they always end up flat like a biscuit. I even thought of investing in a KitchenAid at one point to help me 😂

Mine is a picnic one I’ve made a few times; salmon, dill & cucumber wraps (with a little mayo & lemon juice). I have made both with poached salmon and smoked salmon torn into bits.
I roll wraps into sausage shape and then slice & arrange on a platter.
