Because it can never just be simple ...

Oh Deary me as these two would say ...

Yes, never mind Going in a Boeing with Air Scotia, Its the Norwegian Hokey Cokey.

Youre in youre out , lets shake the seating all about.

Yep. After all the smugness of booking so early to get a seat with good leg room we had the Hi Fly email on Monday.

The one that basically says bring your own tv, snacks, drinks and maybe a pilot too.

Ok

I exaggerate

But when I saw we had gone from the front row to row 50

Not happy

Am advised by customer service person that row 50 is in fact an exit row and should be v pleased.

Except I cant find a single HiFly seat plan that even goes up to 50 rows.

Perhaps we are on the wing rather than next to it.

And bizarrely Norwegian are still trying to flog me an upgrade to premium economy . What the ... it doesnt exist on HiFly : Unless they mean business class.

Ive said we just wait now till checkin. Meantime, downloading loads of stuff onto iPads and filling the hand luggage with emergency snackage

To make myself feel better I have now bought a new holiday dress. Order has been restored and all is well in Wiley world.

^^^^^ This ^^^^^^^^

[And in the scheme of things for anyone who is reading this with Thomas Cook problems , I do realise its all rather first world woes. Its been awful to see that unfolding for all involved ]

Thank goodness youre almost off! Its been a hellish summer of travel disruption and disarray for so very many people so Im crossing my fingers (& toes) that after the year youve had theres no more of that for you.
Really looking forward to following along and vicariously experiencing the cocktail and sightseeing must dos. I hope you have a brilliant trip.
