Hanging washing outside

Dryer all year round, even though I love the smell of air dried washing, especially bedding. Been just hanging our face masks outside as I drip dry them.
I hate when its hot though and you dry towels outside and they are stiff.

From the end of September until the end of March ish here in Northern Ireland. Our garden faces north so there are not enough (any!) hours of sunshine in the autumn, winter and early spring. We don’t get much breeze either as we are in the middle of the city.

I hang out all year round, sometimes finish off in the tumble drier, as it also makes things easier to iron. Love the smell of washing after it has been outside. Great drying day today.

I know my mother does it as long as the air isn't damp. Personally I won't do it in the autumn months. I actually cannot stand the smell of washing that has been on the line - I buy all these products to get my laundry smelling great and once it has been outdoors - that awful fresh air smell. Yuk - I don't like it. So tumble dryer for me after Comfort Heavenly Nectar - wonderful

Another excellent drying day today, two loads done, bone dry, crisp and all ironed.

I’m the same ! It just smells like “outside” 😂 which I don’t like.
Also we have farms and fields near by and they spread muck so it makes the garden stink if the wind is blowing a certain way ..eww
