Car Seats for 3 year old

I've booked a car seat for my 3 year old. Will it be already in car or will we have to fit it? Just asking as my parents have a car too so wondering whether we should hire one for their car too or if it would be easy enough to swap from one car to another if needed?

Can't speak for all the rental companies but most if not all won't fit it as that way they become responsible.
Their fixings are the same as ours so easy to do.

Having looked at YouTube videos of the standard Suv range, we are looking at the Ford Edge as it visibly has isofix fixings, rather than any other reason that we have a 4 and 2 year old in their own car seats. Do you Dibbers know of any other options (Santa Fe or Grand Cherokee) that are also isofix?

If you dont mind me asking how much was it too hire? Ive got a 3 year old and we were going to buy one to take with us. If anyone could recommend a seat to buy here and take?

Not sure how much it was as just got with package. Looking to hire car & seat separate tho the seats are around 70 dollars. Personally I'm going to find it hard enough with a 3 year old, buggy & cases without taking car seat too so I didn't mind paying for it 😃
