Cheapest way of booking to stay at Disney resort

Hi, we are booking DIY what is the cheapest way to book Disney hotel? Is it best to book direct? Thanks

When are you looking to stay and for how long? If it's next year for 5 nights or more, I would wait until the free dining offer is released in April. Then compare prices direct with Disney and a few reputable TAs. Even when doing DIY, you can still do some components through TAs if they offer a decent price - don't have to get the whole package.

I always book direct when booking hotels, regardless of which one it is. It may not be the absolute cheapest but I always find it the easiest to deal with when I need to make changes.

I'd be interested to see the answer to this too, we've mainly used family DVC points in past or booked a package with flights, and am curious for booking our final Disney nights whether just booking through Disney is cheapest as this is what we had been planning to do

Thanks for reply... it�s for next year & we are wanting to split it staying at Disney & universal & maybe somewhere else aswell. We�d probably do a week at Disney.

NYC May 16. Bangkok & Hong Kong Disney Oct 16. Plus lots of European breaks over the years.
