Steak Pie issue!

I bought a large family steak pie from the butcher a week past Friday and accidentally put it in the fridge instead of the freezer! I found it today but I’m unsure as to whether it can still be eaten. There isn’t a label or date on it.

8 days ago ? In the bin it goes without a second thought - butchers pie are better than supermarket One (IMO) but will have less preservatives in them

In the bin. The advantage of real, proper, butcher purchased stuff is that it is not full of chemicals and preservatives (agreeing with Megaflyer).

The disadvantage is that it will have a shorter shelf life.

Just thinking out loud. I would always buy local and there is no doubt these butchers products are far better.

Don't they put any type of use by sticker on though?

It's not criticising them but if not how does the seller know how old it is? Just a thought.
