Not Taylor Wimpey, but whenever we tried to have on site contractors to do jobs directly they always refused.

Looking for my Ears

Hi this came up on a hit when I was searching for wimpey options. What a blast from the past - The reason I was searching is my youngest is buying her first house - thus the reason until the next generation I haven't been on here in forever lol. (And I so miss it can't wait until then and planning disney again)
Anyway if anyone of you see this - can you please give me an idea of what the basic house would be like without upgrades- My daughter can't look into this stuff as show house in Scotland are still closed.
She is only 23 as is her fiance (school sweethearts awe!) they are buying their 1st house. They have not gone out or spent any money for 2 years (and banked all their student summer earnings every year) to get the deposit and fees together. They will be nothing left for extras and I don't want them disappointed as they have only seen the house through the photos and videos on the web site. We can't help as we have both her and her older sisters weddings to pay for this year lol. They put the deposit down today as there was only 1 house left. They need to move to the area for their jobs next year so didn't want to risk losing this house. How much different is the basic house from the glossy stuff

We've not bought a TW house but over the last 6 months we've visited a close by development where they are building and the thing that shocked me most was if you wanted the walls painted white rather than magnolia it was almost £800 or something in that range! x
