I think about a week, i had a greasy cream to apply and just washed my hair In the shower with my head tilted back. I didn't have a problem. The heal quicker when kept dry.

I was given a face guard that you stick to your forehead, made it much easier.

I used boiled cooled water to clean then applied a tiny amount of something similar to Vaseline.

Mine was until the scabbing cleared up - just meant I had to be extra bendy when washing my hair in the shower

I didn't get a guard but I did joke about buying a big scuba type mask to protect them when showering haha never did get round to it! x
