Just received onto our FairFX card $64.53 from Epcot guest relations? Surely this isn’t the refund for our AP? It was a platinum plus pass and only used for maximum 7 days of visits. The AP is still showing on MDE as not expiring until March 2021.

The reference sounds correct. Ours was also from Epcot Guest relations.

As to the amount it would depend on how many days was outstanding and whether you had received any previous payment relating to the closure period.

It would appear everyone else who cancelled, their AP disappeared from their MDE accounts in September or earlier, ours certainly did. If its still showing it would appear to indicate that it has not been cancelled but still active.

Edited at 05:49 PM.

Looks like we need to make a phone call. 👍🏻

Could this be a refund for the closed period and they didn't process the full refund? As said I think most APs have disappeared off the app now for those that cancelled. I'd give them a ring and check whats going on.

How long did you have remaining on your AP? The refund will all depend how long was left on the pass.

Hi,

My annual passes would have originally expired in July. They are still showing in MDE with an expiration date of 9th December 2020.

I would phone and query. You should have had about £275 back if you had a premium pass based on others refunds but if its still showing I would assume they haven't refunded you for it. The £31 def wouldn't seem right but it depends what type of pass you have. I know some of the DVC passes are a lot cheaper than the premium and therefore this could be correct.

Update
DH spent 2hrs on hold to Disney this afternoon. They said our AP cancellation is in process but they are behind with getting these processed. They confirmed ours had been requested to be cancelled and reassured us the refund would be coming our way either to our Fairfx card or by cheque as our card expires end of October. I think the $64 dollars we had might be the refunds they’re currently giving for the platinum plus part for the water parks closure ?
