Not even stepped foot into epcot yet, how would you do it?
When we went last time, it went so fast we didnt even get time to step into epcot once.
We had heard it was so good but you would have needed longer than a day to do it we opted for animal kingdom on the last day instead. Its going to be one of our first destinations this time, is there a particular way you would advise doing it? |

I would say Go straight to the World Show Case .. go round Anti clockwise ...avoids the crowd slightly ... do the world first then go for the normal rides ... Remember to get a disney passprt when your there get it stamped at every country x

We've been 3 times and have still not seen all of Epcot, but thats our fault as we just get too excited and just go back and do the things we like rather than explore the rest of the park.
Next time we're planning on spending 1 whole day just going round the countries as thats mostly what we've missed. You'll love Epcot, it was the 1 park I wasn't looking forward to and we really love it x |

We love Epcot.
We do it in a couple of sessions. first we do the front of the pack and then we will come back another day to do the world. The kids love collecting things and making items in each country they visit. We will be going in October when the international food and wine festival is on which gives even more options of lovely food to eat.

The first thing I'd suggest is getting fastpass for Soarin. That ride gets busy QUICKLY.. and sometimes the fastpasses run out. Then I'd day do the front of the park, go to worldcase for lunch and then just explore. Epcot has so many hidden gems that after 6 wdw holidays we STILL haven't seen everything!

Remember - World Showcase doesn't open until 11a.m.
Epcot needs two days to do it justice. First of all, don't view it as you would Magic Kingdom. It's more about what Walt called "Edutainment". It has two distinct halves. The Innovations and Pavilions offer you fun, rides, experiences... try a Segway, design your own roller coaster ride, ride Spaceship Earth and see how communications developed to what they are today. Go ona space mission to Mars. Ride an electric car. Soar over California on a giant paraglider. The World Showcase takes you on a mini tour of many countries of the World including a dreafully sanitised version of the UK! You can stroll along taking in sights, sounds and flavours. There are some great restaurants in this section of the park. Go see the history of America in a 25 minute show featuring Ben Franklin and Mark Twain as your hosts. And don't forget the firework show - Illuminations, Reflections of Earth nightly at 9p.m. It's totally stunning and a great musical score. |

We go straight to Soarin and get a fast pass and then do Mission to Mars / Test Track whhilst DW goes shopping . We tend to get to the World Show case around 3pm and have food and then stay till closing. As a family who have been to Florida approx 10 times we dont tend to have many 'traditions', however, at EPCOT we always have a coffee & cake at Norway. The World Show Case is without doubt one of the most magical places I have been to and would highly recommend visiting there at night time which enhances its beauty

I agree that Epcot should be seen at night as well. Apart from the fireworks, the performances and rides on the world showcase are sometimes less busy at this time. I would suggest if you have hopper tickets you do Epcot after another park to see it at night as well as during the day. Don't miss the khaki gori at Japan. Also there are some wonderful acrobats here. It's amazing to see. Festival of Food and Wine is really interesting but at the same time it's less busy at other times. Also if you've seen the fireworks before and you visit again, ride the attractions whilst everyone is at the world showcase watching the fireworks.

We split the day and go early for Soarin, Test Track - Future world in general really - and then go and have a quick wander round part of World Showcase, leaving around 3.30pm. We'll then come back in mid afternoon on another day, do World Showcase in more detail and stay on for Illuminations. It's such a big park I don't think you appreciate it all in one day.
