Anyone met the Big Hero 6 team yet? Surprised there wasn't a blog post about them, but think the have been at HS for a few weeks now.

DS will be very very excited if Baymax is doing meet and greets! Haven't even seen the film yet and already he's a big hit in our house! Will be watching this thread with interest.

yep - met them. They are in Hollywood Studios in the Animation Centre where Wreck it Ralph used to be.


the film is excellent as well - caught it on 8th Nov day after it was released. It is likely to be turned into a film series I suspect and is an escape from the singing princesses & animals. Really funny - even to an adult.

Yep they've been there for a while now! Not that it's much help to us, as we have to wait until January for the film!

I honestly expect the film to be huge (think Marvel Avengers but for kids) so no reason they won't be there. The humour is grown up & childish at same time and the characters are strong. I'll go again when it's out here!

Some great merch already produced too - August is probably shortly after it'll be released on DVD so they'll still be promoting it I bet.

Seen a big baymax in times square. Disney store was full of cool looking merchandise. Can't wait to see movie

It's doing better than Interstellar (which was released at the same time) and slightly better than Wreck-It-Ralph and Tangled did when they were released.

However, it's not doing as well as, say, Frozen did.

So, it's a success and doing pretty well. But I suspect by this time next year, other than a bit of merchandise, nearly all presence of BH6 in the parks will have disappeared.

Unless a Big Hero 6 singalong goes viral on YouTube...
