Thrill rides at Disney are problematic for obvious reasons, and yet Disney have shocked me with some of their amazing "pushing the envelope" attractions. A couple of examples of this are Mission Space and Summit Plummet.
I doubt Toy Story will have any thrill rides from what we've been told so far. Regarding using simulators... I'm shocked they haven't utilised more simulators for dark rides. I'm not talking Spider-man, jerking all over the place thrills, but a slow immersive Snow White like experience. It would be amazing to have a Peter Pan flying ride for example. We've had several new animatronic rides since Spider-man. |
