changing currency back

Don't normally have money left but took a bit extra as didn't want to use cards especially in China so we have some currency left over ( China, Japan and Hong Kong) - where's best place to change it back over?

Have got a quote from online company we bought from but by the time we've paid for Special Delivery it's not so good so just wondered if anyone can suggest anywhere else? Don't live near London so that's cut a few options out!

What about the place you got it from? We've just got ours from No1 Currency and they will buy it back at a preferential rate.

thanks, that's where we got our from but will cost over �7 for Special Delivery as over �420 worth.
Asked my mum to pop into her branch of Barclays yesterday (we bank online with Nationwide) for me and if she pays it into her account, there's less than 50p difference than if we sent it back to No 1 and of course, no postage so will get her to do that next week.

You do get some places that will give you a guaranteed buy back rate but seems OP used a mailing option which does involve costly postal charges for security.

Ah ok yeah we've got a branch near us. Barclays sounds much better.
