Just got back - highs and lows
I just want to start off by saying a massive thank you for all your help and tips. All the advice from the dibb really helped make our holiday great😊
Highs - Character breakfast at plaza gardens - great food selection and good character interaction. My mum had a blurry photo with Tigger so they let her wait until the end to get a better one - a bit of Disney magic! - Chez Remy - lovely setting and food -Agrabah Cafe - hands down the best and most vegan friendly food I had all holiday Star Tours - I loved the newer 3D version and my favourite ride Wild West Show - DS1 adored it and kept asking if we could go back everytime we walked past it. - Friendly CMs who all spoke English fluently, something I wasn't expecting. Lows - taking a young child. DS2 who's one and a half just found it very hard going. He wanted to run around and play but it was very busy. He was a nightmare to get to sleep every night too but that's more my lesson to learn about not taking such a young child! DS1 who's 3 was in his element! - Not having enough time to do things! We could have done with a week really! - No Winnie the Pooh. He's my sons absolute favourite but everyday we asked and he didn't appear for a meet and greet. It's a shame because he's such an important character. We did see him in the show though. I've made notes and taken photos so plan on doing a full trip report soon 😊

no winnie the pooh ! also my sons favorite. Was he supposed to be at a meet and greet but didn't come or is there not one ?
I was hoping we would see him at inventions but have just been reading elsewhere that perhaps not either. Such a shame that you didn't get to see him. |

He used to do a meet and greet and then it got taken off the schedule. We met Eeyore, Piglet and Tigger at our character breakfast but that then raised the Where's Pooh Bear?' question. I just said he was on holiday and we'll see him another time and he was happy with that.

Being a bit Goofy

We got back in the early hours of this morning.
We saw Winnie outside the Casey Junior ride in Fantasyland. He was with Tigger. Obviously no help now you're back! Perhaps on your to do list for next time... We took our 2yr old and it was too hot for him with little shade. It was busy and he wanted to run around - his back pack with the reins on was a god send though. |

We forgot his reins! We tried looking for some whilst we were there but no such luck! He's been fine since we got back and into his normal routine.

Pooh has been in the Studios front lot in the last few weeks too but nothing advertised as such. It does seem odd when Tigger is around so much. We did Inventions last week and Tigger and Eeyore were at that too!
Glad you enjoyed overall. We've taken our children since 6 months old and we found 1 year to 18 months ish the hardest but it does get easier. It's amazing when they get older and you can go on the big rides with them - always a new chapter to experience with them. |
