Unlinking ipad

Hi. I have 2 iPads. I bought an iPad Air but have kept my old ipad2. The older one is used by our grandchildren when they come to stay and they have downloaded lots of games apps. I find that their apps also download onto my iPad and also my iPhone.

Does any one know how I can stop this. I have tried resetting the old one to factory settings and using a different email address etc. But they still appear on my other devices

ipads are basically linked to email addresses for different things, App Store, Icloud, facetime etc...

if you give someone an old ipad and your old email is linked to one of the above, when they do something you will do/see it too.

I would set them up an email address, a free icloud one. Then put every "account" on the ipad over to their email account, including the email account on the old ipad.

Just need to go into the settings and one by one change them over to them, not you!

then of course you can facetime them, without your ipad thinking you are calling yourself...

may need to add parents cc details even so they can download free apps tho...

set up 2 apple accounts use your app ld one for your account set up a new one use a diffrent email for your grand children one then when they come around they just down load on the new account.
