Thank you both.

If we were a larger party, maybe. But since it's just Poot and me - I think that private tours may be a bit pricey. When I look at local tours - they have all said "groups only". I am hoping that one or two of the other families on my Dis thread will want to club together and do something - but failing that we'll have a wander around PD.

FWIW, my (US-based) TA says:

I do have to say that I was very surprised at how many things were already sold out already; that's not typical so early. I just checked a few other ports, and while a few things have filled up in each, none are as sold out as this stop.

She is going to keep trying for me - I guess we'll see what shakes out over the next few days/weeks.

In case people haven't spotted, as of today you can pre book beverage tastings under onboard activities on each individual day!

Yeah I had one on Wednesday and had weirdly put "prebooking alcohol tastings" as an improvement then it randomly appears I'd like to think I had the power but I'm fairly sure it was already in the works. Its a nice addition as means less "I must go do something" on the first day now!

What a wonderful cruise this turned out to be. We enjoyed every minute. For us the extra time in New York was great. Last year we stayed in New York for a few days but this time we were flying to Orlando on the 27th so the time in New York was a bonus.
