We've just come back from 2 weeks in Lanzarote in this sort of holiday, was a self catering hotel but the sunbed situation was so bad, people getting up at 5.30am, putting towels on the area around the pool, then when the beds were unchained they pounced to move the towels onto the loungers, I didn't join them, but it hilarious to watch! That's not my idea of a holiday! Took me ages to stop letting what went on round the pool bother me, in the end we hired a car and went out and about for a good few days. We have Florida again next year, and in future we will be booking private apartments and villas like we normally do! I do know people who go on these sort of holidays every year and love it, which is great for them, we cant all like the same thing!

My friend went out of the main school holidays and I think it's a different experience altogether,not so crowded.
