I was going to post something similar, cant decide between Sunday or Monday. Looking at flights for September 18 & Mondays & Tuesdays seem cheaper.

it depends on the airline as well and where in the UK you might fly from. I use Easyjet from Luton and as they use the CDG route 2 or 3 times a day, every day, theres often not much in the price at all, regardless of which day of the week you choose to fly.

In the past I have found it more expensive to fly on weekends from London to short-haul destinations (particularly if flying out late Friday night and flying back late Sunday night), but I was usually looking at flights very close to the date and not sure if they just simply sold out of the cheaper tickets?

But if going from London to Paris my preference is always the Eurostar...

Why not check skyscanner and press the 'view whole month' option. That will show you how much outgoing and return flights are on different days.
