VA - Blankets on flight ?

Mrs has asked me to ask... do all PAX's get blankets on the flights or is it on request only ? (thinking for the kids)

Yes. There's blankets and a pillow on each seat at the beginning of the flight

This is the kind of question that should be answered "D'oh it's Virgin long haul, of course there's blankets" but it's a sad comment on the state of today's cost-cutting airline industries race to the bottom that it's now worth asking.
