Jingle Bell Jingle Bam

Can anyone tell me what time this usually starts and if you have to book anything to get a place or if you can just turn up and watch the same as you would at magic kingdom for happily ever after? I only have one when it starts that I could possibly rearrange slightly to fit it in so trying to see if its possible.
Thank you

Starting November 9th, it's at 8 p.m. and you get in position somewhere in front of the Grauman's Chinese theatre.
You can book a Jingle Bell Jingle Bam dessert party and get reserved viewing - $79 adult $45 child. (Park admission is required).

All details here:

I would just turn up to watch it, this is what we did last year. Dessert party, in my opinion, rather overpriced, but then I don't eat much.

I feel the same - would rather stand and have a snack, than pay the premium for the dessert party. From some of the reviews the desserts aren't exactly of the highest quality.

I merely mentioned there was a dessert party available. I did not say that the OP HAD to attend!

Lol, just giving my opinion on the (optional) dessert party, so that he OP could make an informed decision.

Thanks guys, we are supposed to be in universal that day but it's the only opportunity to see it so moved some fast passes around and we are now going to go there for the evening, 8pm is an ok start time. Not going with a dessert party as already doing Christmas and Halloween parties so that's enough. Thank you everyone for your help.

It switches to 6:30pm on Dec 15th.

And for those who might be interested in doing the dessert party, the price also increases by $10 for adults and $4 for children beginning on Dec 16th.
