How fabulous. If I found anything like that from my nan I would bawl my eyes out but such a treasure. Even better you can hear the 'real' her when they think the tape is off.

My Dh and I have lost 3 out of our 4 parents in the last 5 years.
We had loads of videos which we couldn't play do had them converted to DVD.
It was lovely watching them all again.
May go and watch them again now

How precious - I can just about remember my 2 nana's voices (one died in 1992 and one in 2006) I can't remember my grandads voice who died when I was 6 (1980) and I never met my other grandad, he died before I was born.I'd love something like this - make sure you get a copy for safe keeping x

I've got voicemails from my mum, and a video that I uploaded to YouTube. I can't listen to/watch them as I get too emotional, but I will do one day.

We had a cassette recording of our wedding
After DH died I arranged for a local company to transfer it onto a memory stick for me
The original recording isn't brilliant but I'm pleased I had it done
