Lego Disney castle tips?

Hi,
I know several on here have built the Disney Lego castle, well I've been hankering for ages and have finally ordered one... just wondered if anyone had any hints or tips with regard to the build, display etc... many thanks...

My sister has one and she's fitted lights into hers and it looks much better lit up I think.

She has it on a shelf and is a bit of dust trap , If I get one I want a glass cabinet for it.

Do what I do. I have bought quite a few Lego models. All put in a cupboard unopened and just waiting to increase in value. Or not

Ours is on a large "Lazy Susan" so it's easy to turn to see tha rooms at the back. I do suggest lighting - purple pink is good. Wish there was some way to make Tink look like she is flying apart from using fine wire.

See where you are coming from Mr TM. Although my Statue of Liberty now commands just below $4000 and that is without the box.

Mmmm think I'll manage to keep my hands of it for an hour or so but that will be that I'm afraid, really looking forward to building it... DH bought me the Beatles Yellow Submarine and I loved building that...

A great kit - the bags are numbered - that helps!
I built to on the lazy susan suggested by Geoffa - made it so much easier.

Take your time and enjoy!

Find all the parts for the step you're up to before you start clipping them on! I never seem to do that even though I've been building Lego for 30 years!

I have the castle and millennium falcon stashed away, hoping the castle will go like the falcon

Find an amazing best friend to buy and build it for you as a Birthday present, I did and I love it so much.
