The "Thank you BA" South Florida trip report - July/August 2017

Welcome to my first trip report - well I say first - I have tried in the past to do one but never really got past the pre-trippy. This time I will try really hard to keep on top of it!

We are not doing any parks (not even going near Orlando!) so hopefully that will make it easier and I thought that this type of trip might be of interest to others who want to venture to the great unknown outside of Orlando and the theme parks.

Apologies for the first couple of days as these are very light on photos (in fact probably don't have any) but they have lots of useful (?) info about travelling with a wheelchair.

So here goes - I will try to update every couple of days or even every day if I get the chance.

Day 1 - A state park and a brush with Emily

Day 2 - An aquarium and a sting!

Day 3 - Feeling hot in Key West

Day 4 - Another state park and a glass of milk!

Day 5 - East to West in one day.

Day 6 - Swimming, exploring and a trip to the Pier.

Day 7 - Big boats, big houses and big snacks.

Day 8 - A zoo, some cheesecake and a sunset.

Day 9 - Pool time, 5th Avenue and more Pinchers.

Day 10 - Chilling in Cape Coral with a Chinese.

Day 11 - Sanibel, Miromar outlets and another storm.

Day 12 - Relaxing and some awesome burgers!

Day 13 - More shopping and an old favourite for dinner.

Day 14 - Lovers Key State Park, a baseball game and some salad.

Day 15 - A Marina, a Boathouse and more shopping.

Day 16 - Five Guys, Fins and a shark!

Day 17 - The Everglades and a very manic Miami.

Day 18 - And we're home!
