Proof for DAS

We are planning to speak with Guest Relations on our first day at the Parks, regarding DS13.

He is on medication for ADHD, although he doesn't have a Statement.

What do we need to take with us to be able to qualify for DAS?

Do we need his medication, a letter from the Doctor etc?

Legally according to the ADA (american disabled association or something like that) they can't ask for proof, they've just got to take your word for it.

You dont need to show anything. You need to explain why he cant queue eg my son is severely autistic and non verbal so i tell them he doesn't understand the queuing process and cannot wait in line.

We're here now with our 14 yr old who has Aspergers and ADHD. We have a das for him which works well. We explained about his diagnosis and had some letters from the consultant psychiatrist on camhs headed paper which we offered. The girl at Epcot was lovely, she did not look at the letters.
We're off to universal next week, so hopefully we will have a similar experience there.
