Mobile Plans for Florida - too much ?

Final stages of planning the holiday and wondering if we are cramming too much in ? Thoughts?

Arrive 28th March - Clearwater
28-31 Clearwater
31 drive to key largo
31-4 key largo
4 drive to universal
4-6 universal
7-11 Disney
12 fly back

May stay in Disney for the final 5 days

We have been to universal and Disney 5 years ago and wanted to do a beach/keys and Orlando trip this time.

Thanks

Sounds fabulous.

We would love to do key largo soon. We are flying into Miami this Christmas and driving to Orlando. Planning to spend a few days in Miami before flying home.

It is certainly do-able, if that is what you want to do and like being active.
I did a similar trip when I was younger - 7 days in Orlando then a road trip down the west coast, the keys, and east coast. However I flew back from Miami - cuts out a long and not very interesting 4hr drive. Since the coast is more relaxing than the parks, I would do the tiring parks first, then recover on the coast.

Thanks the only reason we are thinking about beach first is because I believe the parks will be packed the first week this Easter ?

I'd be more inclined to skip the Clearwater part, and just do the Keys. It's a fair old hike from Clearwater to the Keys, then back again to Orlando. But it depends on what airports you are flying to and from.

Some people hotel hop and I just don't see the appeal to it. I wouldn't feel like I could settle, so jumping from Clearwater > Keys > Universal > Disney, I personally wouldn't feel settled, especially with the long drives. Cocoa beach not appealing to you?

We did Orlando > Naples > Key West 20 years ago... and it was beautiful... but wow, the drives were so long and boring. Felt like I wasted so much time on long boring roads. The drive along the Keys was nice though I guess, with the bridges and some amazing houses.
