Post hurricane weather!
Went to AK today managed FOP with 35 minute wait. Parks are really quiet still.
Is it just me though, it was sooooo hot today. Really dry heat, not a glimpse of the usual afternoon rain shower. Is this the post hurricane weather system? Not complaining after the horrendous weather and being stuck at the hotel for 2 days, but OMG AK is really tough when it's so hot! |

Went to universal, no wait on Harry Potter or King Kong. The restaurants were dead quiet too. We did the whole park in half a day. ( although my feet are feeling it ) 😂
Then hit the outlets.. It was roasting today, however it's to be rain the next couple of days.

Must be me then. Nowhere near hot enough for us and I have found these last four weeks decidedly weird ref weather. Lots of overcast days and far more rain than normal.
I need more heat!

Yes agreed, insanely hot in Animal Kingdom today, real feel tipped 39 degrees, also got bitten to bits
Somehow through random refreshing in the MDE app we got a FP for FOP, didn't see the queue dip below 55 mins all day. Have to say it's absolutely outstanding, incredible use of technology. I've never seen Avatar & didn't know what to expect from it, people were coming off crying because it was so good. Hands down the best simulator ride |

Most rides have been nearly a walk on for us.. First family to do Kong today lead to the front with a handshake and had a full truck by ourselves... Amazing ride

Well I think 99 % would prefer the heat over the awful stomy weather.
I am not a huge fan of that extreme hot and humid weather but I would surely take that over a hurricane. At least one can cool off in a pool or AC (when not walking around the parks of course). Going this time if year is a first for us so will be interesting to see what kind we will get.

The post-Irma weather has been clear blue sky, little cloud, no rain, no wind, not humid - my idea of perfect!
