i absolutely agree if that's your plan - but that doesn't appear to be the OP's one for their week at the Cabana Bay.

Question is taking into account car parking at Cabana Bay, the car hire fee and extras would it be easier, cheaper more sensible to use Uber's for the whole trip.
I'm not trying to do things on the cheap but I wonder whether the money would be better spent elsewhere while a car sits in a car park

I got half price parking at Cabana Bay last year, sent them an email seeing if there was any chance of discount as I was staying for two weeks, did the same at Sapphire Falls this year, was successful on both occasions...
