Sounds like a great trip!
You are doing pretty well with these free flights now (you can share with me if you like!)
Was there a reason for the downgrade?

Great post and it seems the girls (and you) really enjoyed themselves and nothing wrong with daddy spoiling his daughter *sometimes* haha.

I must ask about the car though. Why would you want/need a heated wheel in hot weather? 😂 I can understand it being handy in the cold but 25-30c is not my idea of cold.

I wouldn't have paid for the meal either if it was mostly fat. Yuck!

Sheesh..we should all travel with you the way they give ya discounted/free travel

Oliver. I think they had oversold UC with cash payers. Plus we were originally on the VS28 and they chopped it and switched us to the VS16 so it may have been that which caused the problem.
However Miles flights are more vulnerable than cash flights.

Ahh the heated steering wheel trick! I adore the Cadillac saloons as it's standard on them.

However my hands get cold with the air con blowing. So I have ice cold air con, seat set to cold as well and the wheel set to heat. Nice warm hands but a cool cabin and bum!

Wow! Scoring those free flights is amazing! Hats off to you.
Your daughter sounds like mine. Her husband had to go to work in Montreal this year, twice. The minute DD gets the news I'm getting a phone call. It goes like this," mum Doug has to go to Montreal to work this summer, any chance you would like to treat me and your granddaughter to a Disney cruise whilst he is away?"
We had an amazing time, but boy was I shattered at the end, so I feel your pain!
You all look like you are having great fun.

Great summary and great memories made.

Lovely picture of sweet GD and her GF. I bet she has you twisted round her little finger, and rightly so.

In terms of negotiators, you are a Grand Master.

I feel your pain in losing your old bum bag. I'm tearing up as I remember the day the zip broke on my old faithful companion, and the lack of compassion shown by my wife and children. I don't think I'll ever get over it.

These Ladies dont realise the deep affection we have for these iconic items.
Sadly mine was looking like something a charity shop would have slung!

It was worse for me I'm afraid. The family used to mock and even snigger at my fanny pack (I went all transatlantic there) but never hesitated in asking me to carry stuff in it. Double standards doesn't come close...
