The "Practicing for The Florida Trippie" Trip Report - Pre Trip

My countdown is a long one for Disney and having previously failed at a trip report I thought i'd try to get back into the trip reporting swing and have a trial run.

I'm fully expecting that this trip report won't have that much interest (there's not a mouse in sight! ) but it may be of interest to some of you!

So the cast:

Me: Cheryl, 31, teacher. Resigned to cheapy holidays to save up for Disney. It seems to be almost impossible to find a pic of me without a horse in it, sorry!

DD: Poppy, 3, menace. Very excited about where we're going on holiday as mamar & granddad will be there, disappointed we'll not be on a plane.

My mum: Sonya/mamar, i'd be killed for revealing her age on a public forum.
My dad: Ian/granddad, again mentioning age not wise.

I suppose the obvious missing person in this picture is DH, he will appear briefly but unfortunately has to be at work that week.

Where

Now you heard mention in the babble above of cheap holidays to save for Disney so we will be in the UK. And going to stay with my mum & dad for a week. We are lucky that they live here:

Meet the Isle of Arran, a 60ft narrow boat. We will be spending the week in the general Staffordshire area! On the Trent & Mersey Canal.

Not sure what we'll be up to yet, but activities will include spoiling (mamar & granddad), being spoilt (Poppy) and crashing the boat into a variety of things (Me). No matter how many times I drive it I really struggle with the steering.
