14 day ultimate purchased through Disney.

Hi all.

We are staying at Disney W/L from 25th August, currently on gulf coast. We move from the coast to Orlando on 23rd, so 2 days before we check in to Wilderness Lodge.

As we have ultimate 14 day tickets, purchased as part of our package directly through Disney, will they allow us to 'activate' them to enter the parks 2 days from check in, or does the 14 days have to start from our check in date?

Assuming you got free dining plan I think they wont be able to be used until check in

According to Disney's official rules, you can't get the tickets before you check-in if you've bought them as part of a package. You can only use them after you have checked in. See one of the FAQs on this page:

"Can I collect my Park Tickets prior to my check-in date?

If you have booked a Package with us (i.e., Flight inclusive, Disney Resort Hotel + Ticket, Disney Resort Hotel + Ticket + Dining) your ticket is linked directly to your MagicBand which will be activated upon check-in. Therefore it is not possible to collect your Park Ticket prior to your check-in date".

However, some DIBBers have said that it can be possible to go to Guest Services and request your tickets up to 3 days before check-in. That's also stated in the following Disney Mom's Panel answer, although that's talking about American MYW Packages and not UK packages:

"...That said, you can actually request to have your Theme Park Tickets activated up to three days before your arrival date, by visiting Guest Relations at the front of any of the Theme Parks".

So, you may want to try going to Guest Services and asking them whether you can get the tickets earlier. They may let you have them early (but no guarantees).
