Landry Card?

I've seen a few mentions of The Landry Card in posts but I have never heard of it.

What does it do and where can it be used (specifically in Orlando/Kissimmee area). Does it bring real savings?

It is a loyalty card for the Landry Select Club of restaurants.

The main places it gets used in "Orlando" are Bubba Gump - in Universal City walk and T-rex/Rainforest Cafe/Yak and yeti at Disney.

It costs $25 in advance - this is taken off the bill on first use - so if you use it it is free.

It gains you the next available table in those restaurants for a party of up to 6 people. THIS IS THE MAIN BENEFIT - it can save a long wait for a table. Yes - it can be used instead of an ADR (for up to 6 people).

If your birthday or "your birthday" is during your visit (you give a date of birth when signing up - it is never checked up on) you gain a birthday bonus - this can be used at any time during your birthday month or up to the 15th of the following month - with one exception... it can no longer be taken at the same time as the sign up one - so can be used on a second visit.

You do not need to hold the card physically, showing the number given on sign-up is enough.

It does not bring savings (outside the birthday bonus) unless you use it a lot - $1 spent gives $0.01 loyalty points - which can only be spent when the total comes to $25.

Thanks for that. That's most helpful.

Probably not for us then as I don't think we'll be using any of those restaurants.
