DDP INfo

Never had the DDP before so trying to get head round things.
Can someone tell me if the Magic Band is loaded with all 10 days worth of credits on arrival, does that mean it starts the day you pick it up or the following day. i.e. can I use a Table meal credit for the night we are first there on the day we arrive?

It’s all loaded on at the first go, then you can use as you wish. It will end on your last day at midnight. So make sure all is used before then.

Oh thats good, thank you, wanted to book Boma for the night we arrive as don't really want to go out that day if arriving late and tired. Might as well use a DDP credit for it if we can.

You can do that, but most people do not use a TS credit on the first night. You could be delayed, too tired etc. QS makes more sense for most for first night.

Yes thanks for the reminder, we should be arrive around 3.30pm all being well so that gives us quite a lot of time. Just thought we will check in & go to the supermarket anyway so may well pick up something at the supermarket.
If we dont use our QS credit for that night can we use them and the following days QS in one day if we wanted to?

You can use as many or as few as you want each day until you run out of credits.

Yes you can. You can use all your QS credits in one day if you choose to do so.
They can be used any time after check in and before midnight on check out day

Are you travelling from within the US on your first day?

We have never managed to check in before 10pm even when we landed at 6.35pm.

Most people just have a QS meal the first night:

Using a QS credit is a different matter to using a TS credit for Boma. The TS would need to be prebooked and you would forfeit a deposit if you can’t make it. The QS meals are walk ups and noreason not to do that on your first night if you feel like it.
