As a life long Wuthering Heights fan it was a dream come true and we are now completely in love with the area!

Lovely to see God’s Own Country captured in all your nice photos, I am pleased you enjoyed the area.
Try places like the Peak District and Dales as well, although the former does have a lot of it in (cough) Derbyshire.

I’m biased being a Yorkshire lass but gods own country is the most beautiful place to be….im in South Yorkshire which has some wonderful places just a short drive from inner city areas you feel like you are in the middle of nowhere but the further north of the county you go it gets more stunning

Love the pictures, not far from me although I am on the right side of the border 😉
Spent a lot of time walking across those moors and ghost hunting around the ruins of Wycoller Hall which I believe was the hall in the Jane Eyre novel.
Penelope Keith did live in the village, not sure if she still does. It’s a beautiful spot, if you didn’t make it this time I would recommend it for the future.
