Hi there
Has anyone been here lately? I follow them in fb and they keep showing some fab burgers, we are going to be staying in a villa on the US 27 is it a long way to go for just a burger? Thanks

It’s 10 mins or so from Universal and definitely worth the trip the food is yummy and they do a great selection of craft beers.

It is really good. We have been twice and will go again this year. The burgers are huge and there is an enormous choice. If I remember correctly the onion rings are fab also.
I like the bar itself, seems like a local place with a good atmosphere.
Very tasty and not extortionate.

Best burger of our last trip. If you are going to Universal then add it to that day, its what we will be doing next year.

We visited at the end of December and found it so/so

Had read so many great reviews that we were disappointed that we couldn't fit it into our Universal plans (we we also staying up in Davenport at the 27) but managed to re-jig our plans and hit Teak before attending a Magic game.

We ordered a Drunken Monk, 2 Cronie Burgers & Kids Cheeseburger all with sides for the 4 of us. All the burgers looked great but was just lacking any flavour despite all the additions (On my own Cronie I found the only flavour was the bun and the Beef and Bacon was very bland)

Total cost was around $80 with tip which we found good value for what we received

Many of restaurants in our local area pride themselves on quality, locally produced burger creations and we found Teak just wasn't a patch on these. It wasn't a bad burger but just lacking the wow to make the trek worthwhile.

One hidden gem we can recommend is Ovation Bar Bistro about a mile past Posner Park. Tremendous tasty meats, great service & atmosphere and very good value

Thanks for your replies, the ovation bar and bistro looks really good, we are staying really close to there so have put the place on our visit list gets great reviews too

Ovation is really nice but you are going in Snowbird Season and it gets absolutely rammed be prepared for a long wait for a table
Same with Mannys at Haines City
We use Mannys and Ovation in Winter Haven for that reason now

It will be busy round thanksgiving but it's more Jan to March it's manic
The booking on line system tends to go out the window where time is concerned or at least it did 3times for us
