Cali Grill...worth it?

Cali Grill has been on my list for the last two trips, but the 2TS always stops me.

**Bad Mum Alert**
Our children will be 14 and 10 this trip and its our anniversary while we are there, so I was thinking it might be worth the 2 credits now or would we be better off paying oop for the children to have kids meals (neither have very big or particularly 'fancy' appetites)

I really like California Grill and so does my daughter - she is 10... you could pay OOP for kids meals or maybe flatbreads which are basically pizzas and not mega expensive... last year we went there around 5pm, ate a lovely meal (everything was delicious) then walked back over for the evening at MK or you could watch the fireworks from CG if you want to do that. I've never eaten anything bad there in 3 visits...

We love California Grill and have been a few times with our children when they were teenagers. They always ate from the adult menu and the chef was happy to adapt the meals for my daughter who doesn't eat meat.

Have you looked at the Sunday Brunch there? We prefer it to dinner. You order an entree, but everything else is from the buffet.

Sorry but I�m going to say that I wouldn�t bother. We�ve done dinner at CG twice now and I can�t say that I was particularly wowed by the food or service on either occasion. We�ve been a party of 2 adults & 2 (very well behaved) children age ranging c5-10. The view from the window was nice and its interesting to watch the fireworks after dinner but having done that twice now it won�t make the grade this year.
I have heard good reports about brunch though so perhaps that would be better?

I think 14 would be too old for the activity centre kids club, plus they are all closing down in July sadly

Do the Brunch! Absolutely worth the 2 credits. Amazing meal, easily my favourite of the last 3 trips we�ve made
