“Avatar” experience to be built at Disney's Animal Kingdom

Although I wasn't a huge fan of the film, I'm of the belief it's good to add attractions regardless.

I know Beastly kingdom probably isn't going to happen as a 'land' for AK, but don't forget AK was originally designed to show past, present and mythical creatures, so I guess 10ft tall blue creatures fits into that

i think it sounds awful, i really liked the film but i just dont think this fits with the park and i really think it will ruin animal kingdom for me. i understand what they are trying to achive but i think there must be a better way to do it

I hate AK with a passion, it's just got nothing there, any addition is better than nothing.
I love Avatar and see how they have fitted it into the theme of the park but I'll remain quiet on full judgement till I see it

Not sure if it belongs in AK - maybe more suited to HS.
But I bet it will be amazing, It's success though will be dependant upon how successful the next two films are - sequels often (but not always) are flops.

This is awful news. AK is our favourite park by far. Avatar is the worst film I have ever seen, probably the only time I've walked out of a cinema. Replacing Dinoland with Dances With Smurfs is a huge mistake.

I haven't seen the film as it isn't my sort of thing. But DH has and I just told him this news and he thinks its pretty cool!

So maybe I'd better watch that film... all in the name of research and planning!

i love the idea of avatar land as i love the film, but im not sure if it fits in AK but i guess i will wait and see what it turns up like. Would think it would fit in HS better, but i guess it all depends how it is done x
