Torrential rain for the last 24hrs and 10 degrees ..

We have another heatwave here in Corfu, with the high humidity it's been at least 45c today, think it's going to go on 4 or 5 more days.

Scorchio. I love Greece and that kind of high heat, but then I am visiting and flopping around in the water or hiding in an air conditioned room. Trying to work and carry on normal life would be way too hot for me.

If high humidity does this mean the fire risk is down a bit?

Seems we're the odd ones out HB. Now 10 degrees and still pishing it doon, luckily we're so high above sea level we never flood but it might be a tad dodgy down the hill!

We were in corfu for 4 nights the week before last and thought it was really hot, well hotter than we were expecting! Was lovely to see the sun though after the miserable weather here!

Sorry Chris. You did have some lovely weather up there a few weeks ago when I brought dd up to Consett. My mum's car said 37c when we were in Durham on the 25th.
