Mobile HS FP tiers - so frustrating!

Anyone else finding the tiering at HS and fast pass availability frustrating

I have a couple of one night stays during my off site holiday so was able to book at 60 and 61 days twice 3 days apart

No chance of SDD... and the earliest in the day I can get star tours is 1.30pm 🙈🙈... which means the chance of securing a second tier 1 is pretty slim that late in the day !

So a day at HS consists of a couple of shows, one ride and then hanging around for a mediocre tier 2 ride ( which happens to be my DS fave! 😬&#128556

Did you get a tier 1 ride booked? Bit confused, reads like you have four things booked?

I have booked VOTLM as this was the earliest show, then have RnR booked straight after at 9.40 ... then have to wait until after lunch for ST... by which time I assume there will be no further tier 1 FP left!

Yes that wait between 9:40am and 1:30pm is a bit of a drag. But with most of the rides moving to Tier 1, it could make it easier to pick up a second FP as nobody will be able to book more than one of them in advance.

You can definitely change that star tours. Just keep clicking on it and searching for new time. If not before you go you will be able to change it on the day. I was getting Star tours fastpasses repeatedly and normally for within the hour.

Get to the park early and you can walk into Toy Story mania and the alien saucers easily as well.

You should also get on tower of terror easily at rope Drop. When everyone is queuing in the road. You can walk around to Sunset blvd and queue there instead.

Star Tours doesn't usually have long waits first thing in the morning. You could just go standby.

Sort of expecting 3 & done tbh, very hard to predict how busy HS will be after the 29th. We have an evening ADR, for both planned visits, but not hanging about in a rammed park IYKWIM.
We done SDD last year & had already decided that given the choice we would choose TSM but that was before they changed the Tiering, I have to say that unless I had young kids, I'd go with TOT or RRNRC over SDD

We were there yesterday afternoon, additional fp were hard to come by but I did manage to get rock n roller coaster at about 5:30pm for 6pm after we’d tapped into Indiana Jones so it isn’t impossible.

There are three of us and we managed 7 fp and walked on another couple of rides.

I'm going to HS on 18th Sept. I'm not bothered abour Slinky. It's a one and done ride for me. I've booked TOT for my tier 1 and Star Tours and Little Mermaid show for tier 2. All in the afternoon. Staying till after Fantasmic so will do other odd stuff in the afternon too. Have no interest in GE. Spending the morning at the resort pool, Stormalong Bay 😀
