Virgin Atlantic - Online check in or Premium check in or both?
Hi, we are flying Virgin and have economy delight tickets which I believe gives us premium check in. Is it best to do OLCI or just go to the premium check in on the day, or do OLCI and still go to premium check in to drop the bags off? Haven't used premium check in with Virgin, so not sure which way will be the quickest/best?
Likewise on the way back, we intend to use Disney Springs check in, do we then drop bags off at premium check in or a separate bag drop? Thanks in advance for any advice. Edited at 12:14 PM. |

well online check in as obviously quicker as no queues. Premium checkin is handy if its busy as a separate queue, but if you have done online then you dont need to queue.
I go prem econ quite a bit and normally check in online, and then drop bags off at counter and pick boarding passes up from there. Normally no queue at the prem econ counter, and quicker to process as have checked in online. |

Advice is to always do OLCI plus whatever bag check/BP facility you're entitled to.
Doing OLCI gives the airline more certainty that you intend to fly. On an overbooked flight, leaving check-in until the airport, may put you at more risk of being bumped from the cabin or flight. Those who haven't done OLCI & who the airline aren't certain will turn up or who aren't status members of the airline can be first to be considered for being bumped. Edited at 06:53 PM. |
