Chicken Guy... meh.
Ok so after reading so many positive reviews of this place, it was one that despite just being chicken tenders, we decided we would try it out.
Oh my word what a complete disappointment. The chicken was flattened to be about a millimetre thick and was cooked to death. There was more burnt breadcrumb than chicken. I was expecting KFC style full juicy pieces of tender chicken but I got cremated breadcrumbs instead. I even took them back to be told 'Yeah that's how we cook it' They replaced them but the new set were still garbage. Anyone else thought this or is it just me. Would not recommend it at all. Cooked better fried chicken at home, and Michelin chef I am not! |

This surprises me as Chicken Guy was probably our favourite QSDP meal when I went with my daughters last September. Just last night, I was saying to OH that me MUST go there next month (he hasn’t tried it yet) I hope it hasn’t gone downhill that much!

We were also very disappointed with it, and we would have much rather had a Kentucky instead. The chicken was flavourless and dry and we left most of ours.

Try The Coop for your chicken. It's owned by the 4Rivers BBQ company.

We made a special trip for our youngest to try chicken guy. He said it was OK, I thought it looked overcooked and more like cheap breaded chicken nuggets than anything. I normally sneak a nibble of new food, it didn't look appetising at all so did not.
