Virgin 747 to A330 200/300... any update

Had this plane change for October’s return flight from MCO-MAN a few weeks ago now. The new configuration meant our family of 3 were spread all over the cabin.

Thankfully i logged on the other day to manage my booking and was able to move our seats so we were all together. Just have to hope we end up going now!

Just checked and ours has changed from bubble seats to A330-300. MAN to MCO 29th July. Also return flight MCO-MAN 16th August now A330-300. No email to say I've been refunded for bubble seats ☹️

Yes they have put all of us in middle row what looks like middle of plane outbound. Return they have put us as two seats on right and next two seats behind them. So we are all sat together as a group.

8th August from MAN direct. We did have bubble premium. A two then aisle the a one with a vacant by window.
Now got two on the left, aisle then the four middle seats the aisle, then seat (allocated to DS age 14) with a vacant next to window.
We've already decided we're not going so not going to mess with them.

So nobody else wastes time calling them, I just managed to speak to VA customer services and there is nothing they can do at all about seat selection until they have fully moved flights over. Just have to wait and hope that moving from a 747 to a much smaller Dreamliner we have made the cut😂

Ours are currently a complete mess. Both flights have changed to a couple of hours earlier. We were on an A330-300 for the return flight but that has been changed to a 747!

Both the cancelled and the new flights can still be seen. It even reads 'multi stop journey' or something as if we are on multiple flights!

On the website it shows we have lost our seats and cannot select them but on the App it shows our previous seat bookings have been retained (at least as far as I can tell).

That's MCR by the way.

This morning my seats have been changed to the Airbus. Trip is for september from Manchester. No notification but as a couple allocation is fine, but no option to change allocation.

Logged into ours this morning, we are getting a message saying multi stop journey, and now have flights showing from gatwick and Heathrow there and back. Its showing the same seat numbers on all flights, but wont let us access the seat map.

To be honest I'm hoping they cant fit us in the PE cabin , I'd be happy if we could can else and get a refund

Mine changed this morning too, they’ve sat me 8 rows away from my family and my kids (3 & 5) across an aisle from my husband. We are cancelling anyway but my anxiety spiked just seeing the new layout as no free seats near my family at all. 🙈
